Craftsmanship
Hello, my name is Ian Hendrick. I am a 2003 graduate of The Roberto-Venn School, and guitar repair professional of 23 years.
My first job in the industry was at Woodsong’s Lutherie in Boulder, CO. I spent 13 years learning and working there before moving back to New Hampshire to continue my practice as a guitar repair professional.
My mission is to provide the highest level of service to the musicians of New England, from first-timers to long-time professionals, all are welcome here. The tenets of my craft are based on honest communication, empirical measurement, and the continuing expansion of my technical skills, knowledge, and tool set.
I look forward to working with you!
"I really wanted to find a luthier to work on my guitars that wasn't tied to a retail outlet, and was more than surprised to find Ian in our little corner of Southwestern NH! Whether you guitar is worth $500 or $5000, Ian will make you feel like your instrument is the most important one on the planet and takes the time to talk through any of your concerns & questions. He is thorough in his explanation of the work needed (both before and after the job) and I fully trust his assessments, never feeling like he's trying to make an extra buck!"
