Where are you located?
The repair shop is in Grantham, NH, in the village of Eastman, approximately 5 minutes from I-89 off of exit 13, only twenty minutes from Lebanon/Hanover, and New London, and just forty from Concord, NH. I serve clients from all over New England and the Northeast, in addition to the Upper Connecticut Valley and Lake Sunapee Region. Local amenities include golf, hiking, biking, swimming, boating, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing.
Are you willing to travel to meet me and pick up an instrument?
Yes, I realize my location may be a bit off the beaten path for some, so I am happy to meet within a 30 minute drive at no extra charge. Don't be afraid to ask.
What types of instruments do you repair?
Acoustic and electric guitars, basses, mandolins, ukuleles, banjos, lap steels, resonators, and more. Just ask!
Do you install and repair acoustic pickup systems?
Yes! I am very experienced with a wide range of pickup systems for both electric and acoustic instruments and can help troubleshoot and optimize your pickup for output, balance, and tone. I have almost two decades of experience installing, troubleshooting, and modifying all types pickup systems and electronics in guitars, basses, mandolins, and banjos. Fishman, LR Baggs, and K&K are a few of the acoustic pickups that I am intimately familiar with.
Can I ship my guitar to you?
Yes, of course! Please call or email before doing so.
Is your shop climate controlled?
My shop is well insulated and I keep the relative humidity level no lower than 35% during winter months, and no higher than 55% during the summer months.
What types of repairs do you commonly handle?
I can accommodate almost any repair needs for all fretted instruments. Setups, fretwork, bridge and structural repairs, cracks, headstock breaks, neck resets, finish touch-ups, hardware and pickup troubleshooting, replacement, and modifying.
Are there any types of repairs you will not take on?

What kind of experience do you have?
I am a 2003 graduate of the Roberto-Venn School. After attending, I started work at a busy repair shop in Boulder, CO. Over 14 years there, I worked on thousands of instruments. I was trained by luthiers with a combined experience of over 85 years. I also have 2.5 years as a timberframer and detail drafter for Bensonwood Homes in Walpole, NH.
